Mark
Littlejohn
Mark Littlejohn came to landscape photography through his love of Ullswater and the surrounding area. Rather than following a prescribed approach, he went out and photographed the parts of the landscape that fascinated him.
He is a conditions dependent, reactive photographer. For Mark, landscape photography should feel exciting and immediate, with the light, weather and atmosphere determining the image.
Today, he spends much of his time working around Ullswater and running bespoke workshops in the Lake District and the Scottish Highlands. He also writes occasional articles for national photographic magazines.
Landscape photography from instinct.
Mark’s 2027 talk will explore his reactive, conditions led approach to landscape photography and the importance of mood, atmosphere and responding instinctively to the scene. The final talk title and full details will be announced soon.
