I’m Simon Baxter, a professional woodland and landscape photographer based on the very edge of the North York Moors national park in the north east of England, UK.

Photography is my passion. Rain, snow, fog and sunshine, I’ll be out with my Labradoodle (Meg) exploring the countryside in search for that next best tree, a scene that I connect with or simply to absorb myself into the ever changing beauty of the landscape. I don’t obsess over the technicalities of photography; instead I crave atmosphere, experiences and unique moments in time that serve as a constant reminder that there is far more to landscape photography than a photograph.

In more recent times I’ve started to document my outings with video blogs. The intention of these are to inspire, share knowledge and to show the less obvious pleasures of landscape photography and being a dog owner. Visit my YouTube channel.
